Monday, March 5. The Tropicana Social Club presented the kids from the Bayshore Elementary School Cloggers. The boys and girls, from kindergarten to fifth grade, are from North Fort Myers. They danced to a variety of music including those great old hits “Friends With Tractors” and “Cotton Eyed Joe.” They also clogged to some “Old Time Rock and Roll.”

President Ted Skrypak announced that the TSC paid for the new Canadian flag at the park entrance. He said that the art show was a big success as was the anniversary party. The club is seeking cooks for next year’s hot dog day. The band concert will be held on March 31. Tickets are still available for the free event. The St. Patrick’s Day dinner is on the 17th of March. A big crowd is expected. Tickets are still available.
The Farewell Party is on March 25. The cookout is at 4 pm. Street dancing and sing along will be at 5:30.
Paul from the Tropicana Forum announced that the blog was launched on March 1 and already has attracted a crowd.
