Only primary homes are eligible to receive funds to fix damaged properties. Second homes are eligible for no benefits.  We originally thought that they might be eligible for an SBA loan, but that information, which we received from a FEMA official, has turned out not to be true.  In rare cases, when the property has been treated as a business via rentals, a SBA disaster loan might be available.
