MUSIC: Do you call your sugar “Candy?”

We recently posted a medical article about the dangers of sugar.  But I forgot to mention that calling your sugar “Candy” can be a sweet experience without the usual calories.   Here is John Pizzarelli with his version of  “Candy” which was written in 1944.

Many artists have recorded it, and it once was played on the Cosby Show  (From Wickipedia:  The song was featured on a Cosby episode “A Touch of Wonder” in which Claire lipsyncs it to lure Heathcliff downstairs for some snuggle time.)

John Pizzarelli is a jazz guitarist and vocalist who comes from a musical family. He often performs with his wife singer Jessica Molaskey, his dad guitarist Bucky, and his brother bassist Martin.
